Acting for Stephens and Scown in conjunction with Tim Wadsworth Pearce Property Consultants have advised this leading SW legal practice on their Exeter Offices in Southernhay and their new Taunton offices at the Blackbrook Junction 25.
Terms have been agreed to re – gear their existing lease of Curzon House in Southernhay and as part of the deal Stephens and Scown have undertaken an extensive refit of the building to improve it`s entrance, create a business lounge and refurbish the work place. This will involve replacing the gas heating system with electric and improving the overall performance of the building from a sustainability point of view and thereby reducing it`s carbon footprint. The works will help the objectives they have set in Stephens and Scown achieving B Corp status.
At the same time we have acquired temporary space in Block at the Blackbrook Business Park at J25 Taunton for Stephens and Scown's new Taunton office. This is part of their strategic growth plan and will lead to a more permanent office solution in the short to medium term.
