Office Blog: 8 and 9 Richmond Road, Exeter have been put under offer for sale

The two period listed buildings are the end properties of the Terrace built in the early 19th century.
Square is bounded on three sides by Richmond Road, Bystock Terrace and Queens Terrace with the famous Clock Tower at the end of Queens Street.
The Clock Tower was built by a Mrs Miles in memory of her husband who died in 1881. Miles was an expert on animal welfare especially horses. The Tower was built on the site of a water fountain that was built by her husband as a watering hole for horses coming up from St David`s Station to the City Centre. A nice bit of Exeter history……….
